Sensata Technologies, Inc. (“Sensata”) understands the importance of protecting information. We recently identified and addressed a security incident potentially involving information concerning current and former U.S. employees, their dependents, and other individuals whose information we maintained for a business-related reason. Some of the individuals are or were participants in Sensata’s health plan (the “Plan”).

What Happened?
On 2025 年 4 月 6 日, we determined that certain servers in our network were encrypted with ransomware. We immediately implemented our response protocols, took measures to contain the activity, and launched an investigation. A cybersecurity firm that has assisted other companies in similar situations also was engaged. We notified law enforcement and are supporting its investigation.

The evidence showed that there was unauthorized activity in our network between 2025 年 3 月 28 日 and 2025 年 4 月 6 日. During that time, an unauthorized actor viewed and obtained files from our network.

What Information Was Involved?
We conducted a careful review of the files involved and determined that they contained information concerning individuals, including Plan participants. The information may have included the individuals’ names, addresses, and one or more of the following: Social Security number, tax identification number, driver’s license number or state-issued identification card number, passport number, other government-issued identification number, financial account information, payment card information, medical information, health insurance information, and/or date of birth.

What We Are Doing.
We are mailing letters to the individuals whose information may have been involved and have arranged for eligible individuals to receive access to complimentary credit and identity monitoring products. To help prevent something like this from happening again, we have taken and are taking steps to enhance our existing security measures.

What You Can Do.
Eligible individuals can enroll in the complimentary credit and identity monitoring product we have provided. Additionally, the letters we are mailing to the individuals describe steps they can take to protect their information.
